Senior Cost Control Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer to oversee project cost planning, monitoring, and reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with budgeting and forecasting, and the ability to support project teams in achieving financial objectives while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, cost baselines, and forecasts
• Track project expenditures and analyze cost variances
• Prepare periodic cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and performance dashboards
• Implement and maintain cost control systems and procedures
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, contracts, and project management teams
• Review change orders, variations, and claims for cost impact
• Support earned value analysis (EVA) and performance measurement
• Ensure compliance with company policies and project financial controls
• Provide management with accurate cost trends, risk analysis, and recommendations

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• 7–10 years of proven experience in cost control on large-scale projects
• Strong knowledge of project cost management principles and practices
• Proficiency in cost control software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Excel, ERP systems)
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment
