Senior Cost Control Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Controller Engineer to oversee project cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts
• Monitor project expenditures and identify cost variances
• Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management
• Analyze cost performance and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
• Track commitments, invoices, and cash flow projections
• Support tendering and estimation processes
• Implement cost control systems and tools
• Conduct risk analysis related to project costs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in cost control (preferably in construction, oil & gas, or EPC projects)
• Strong knowledge of cost control principles and financial analysis
• Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, Excel)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and reporting abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
