Senior Cost Estimator engineer

Our contracting company is establishing a new Estimation Department and we’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Estimation Engineer (Civil) to join our team in Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for civil projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents for accurate quantity take-offs and pricing.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for competitiveness and compliance. Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to collect necessary data. Conduct risk analysis, cost-benefit studies, and recommend value engineering solutions.
Lead, train, and supervise junior estimation engineers.
Ensure professional and timely preparation of all estimation reports.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil project estimation within contracting companies. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market rates in Kuwait. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation tools like Candy, CostX, or similar.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Immediate joiners with transferable residency in Kuwait is a must.
