To strengthen our risk and compliance team in Doha, we are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Risk Analyst to lead credit risk assessments and ensure sound financial decision-making.

Role Overview

The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for evaluating credit applications, analyzing risk exposure, and developing strategies to mitigate financial risks. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and the ability to support business growth while safeguarding organizational interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments for individual and corporate clients.
• Analyze financial statements, credit histories, and market data to determine risk levels.
• Develop and implement credit risk models and scoring systems.
• Collaborate with underwriting, compliance, and finance teams to ensure sound lending practices.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in credit risk analysis, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Proven track record of managing credit risk in financial services or banking.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk models, financial analysis, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Pay: Up to RO2,100.000 per month
