We are seeking a talented Senior Criminal Defense Attorney to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Criminal Defense Lawyer with a proven track record in court and at trial. The ideal candidate is a passionate advocate with strong courtroom skills, a deep understanding of criminal law, and a commitment to delivering personalized, high-quality legal services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a wide range of criminal matters, including misdemeanors, felonies, and appeals.
- Conduct thorough case investigations, legal research, and analysis to build robust defense strategies.
-Work in tandem with dedicated criminal paralegal,
- Draft and argue motions, negotiate plea agreements, and represent clients at hearings and trials.
- Collaborate with firm attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive client support.
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and empathetic advocacy.
- Stay current on legal developments and best practices in criminal law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in PA and in good standing with the state bar.
- Minimum of 5+ years of criminal law experience, preferably some time as an Assistant Public Defender or Assistant District Attorney.
- Demonstrated success in handling criminal cases, including trials and plea negotiations.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to client advocacy and ethical practice.
