Senior Custody Officer

The Senior Custody Officer is responsible for achieving and developing the responsibilities of the Custody Department with limited mistakes. They will play a critical role in performing and monitoring daily settlement operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulators and in-house policies, and assisting with various trade-related processes. Additionally, they will actively participate in system development projects and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor daily settlement operations, including day-to-day settlement procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulators and in-house policies during processing transactions.
• Familiarity with the account opening process.
• Assist in daily trade matching and clearing, trade confirmation, client reports, and statements.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal and external parties during daily trade reconciliation.
• Participate in system development projects, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and system enhancements.

Skills

• Familiarity with the Edaa settlement process.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income Products, including bonds, derivatives, and structured products.
• Experience in using Excel VBA & Access will be advantageous.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
• Native Arabic speaker with fluent written and spoken English.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related disciplines.
• CME-1 qualification.

Work Experience

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in settlement & operation in the investment field.
• Experience in Saudi and US stock market settlement.
• Participation in new system development.
