Senior Cutting List Draftsman

Role Summary

Responsible for preparing accurate cutting lists and shop drawings for joinery works to support efficient production, minimize material wastage, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

l Prepare and issue cutting lists for all joinery items.

l Develop and update shop drawings based on IFC drawings and site requirements.

l Ensure accuracy of dimensions, materials, finishes, and hardware details.

l Coordinate with production, CNC operators, procurement, and site teams.

l Optimize material usage and reduce wastage.

l Review and revise drawings to reflect project changes.

l Guide and review work of junior draftsmen when required.

l Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

l Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.

l 5–8 years of joinery or fit-out experience in the UAE/GCC.

Skills

l AutoCAD proficiency (mandatory).

l Strong knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, and production methods.

l Experience with cutting list optimization and CNC processes (preferred).

Salary - AED. 6,000 - AED. 10,000
