Position Overview

AKSITGLOBAL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cyber Security Expert to join our growing cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the organization's security posture, managing cyber threats, and supporting enterprise security operations. This position requires a proactive professional who can take ownership, collaborate effectively, and contribute to building resilient and secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and support incident response processes.
• Conduct threat hunting activities and leverage threat intelligence to identify emerging risks.
• Monitor, analyze, and investigate security events using SIEM platforms.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support risk management initiatives.
• Strengthen network security controls and contribute to Zero Trust implementations.
• Manage and secure Windows environments, Active Directory, Linux systems, and cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Identify and mitigate web application security risks and vulnerabilities aligned with OWASP Top 10.
• Ensure adherence to security frameworks and best practices, including NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve the overall cybersecurity posture across the organization.
• Develop and automate security processes using scripting tools where appropriate.
• Stay informed about emerging threats, attack techniques, and security technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with SOC operations, incident response, threat hunting, and threat intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Wazuh, or similar SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of EDR/XDR solutions such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, or SentinelOne.
• Experience in vulnerability assessment, risk management, and security monitoring.
• Strong understanding of network security and Zero Trust principles.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Security, Active Directory, Linux Security, and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, web application security, and modern cyber threats.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and industry best practices.
• Scripting and automation skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash will be considered an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, CySA+, SC-200, or equivalent are preferred.
