Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Senior Cybersecurity & Compliance Content Writer with proven expertise in cybersecurity, information security, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

This role is strictly for experienced professionals.

If you do not have prior experience writing in cybersecurity or compliance, this role is not suitable.

You will independently produce high-authority, long-form SEO content that ranks in competitive SERPs and speaks directly to CISOs, IT leaders, compliance managers, founders, and security decision-makers.

You will be responsible not just for writing but for producing content that performs.

You will deliver 6–8 long-form, SEO-optimized articles per month (1,200–1,800 words each) focused on organic acquisition and qualified lead generation.

This is not a training or junior role. You must already understand:

  • Search intent
  • SERP competition
  • On-page SEO
  • Cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards

Key Responsibilities1. Content Execution

Produce 6–8 high-quality long-form articles per month based on provided briefs (target keyword, intent, outline, audience).

Write authoritative content on topics such as:

  • ISO 27001 implementation and certification
  • SOC 2 readiness and audits
  • GDPR and data protection regulations
  • HIPAA and PCI-DSS compliance
  • Risk assessments and internal controls
  • Vendor risk management
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
  • Cloud security and regulatory frameworks

Apply advanced on-page SEO best practices:

  • Clear H2/H3 structure aligned with search intent
  • 3–6 contextual internal links per article
  • Optimized meta title and meta description
  • Image suggestions with accurate alt text
  • FAQ sections based on SERP analysis

Ensure every article is:

  • Original and plagiarism-free
  • Factually accurate and technically sound
  • Supported by reputable sources (regulators, standards bodies, research institutions)
  • Written in clear, executive-level English

Turnaround expectations:

  • First draft: 3–5 business days
  • Revisions: 1–2 business days per round

2. SEO Performance & Reporting

Track and report on content performance including:

  • Target keyword rankings
  • Organic traffic growth
  • Indexation status
  • Early ranking signals

Maintain a monthly SEO performance snapshot highlighting:

  • Ranking improvements and wins
  • Underperforming content
  • Optimization and refresh opportunities

Use tools such as:

  • Google Search Console (required)
  • Ahrefs or SEMrush (preferred)

Keep all content and performance tracking updated consistently.

Participate in a 15-minute weekly check-in focused on measurable outcomes.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • 2+ years of experience writing in cybersecurity, information security, or compliance.
  • Proven experience creating SEO-driven B2B content.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • ISO 27001
  • SOC 2
  • GDPR
  • HIPAA
  • PCI-DSS
  • Risk management and GRC frameworks
  • Demonstrated knowledge of on-page SEO and competitive SERP analysis.
  • Experience using Google Search Console.
  • Ability to write for senior and technical audiences.

You must submit 3+ live, published samples that demonstrate:

  • Technical depth
  • Strong structure and clarity
  • High-intent keyword targeting
  • Competitive SERP positioning

Compensation & Benefits

Monthly Salary: PKR 200,000 – 350,000

This range is reserved for candidates who fully meet the experience and performance criteria outlined above.

Payment via bank transfer / JazzCash / EasyPaisa.

Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and compliance under Pakistan law.

Selection Process

We are selective by design.

  1. Initial screening interview (15 minutes)
  2. 2 rounds of technical interview
  3. Paid test assignment (~1,200 words from our brief):
  • 50% of per-article rate if not published
  • 100% if published
  1. Reference check (one prior client or editor)

Work Authorization & Conduct

Must be legally able to perform contract work and invoice in Pakistan or the Philippines.
