We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer who will take ownership of our security architecture and strategy. This is not just an operational role you will shape how security is embedded into every layer of our systems. You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and leadership teams to ensure our platforms remain resilient, compliant, and future-ready.

Monthly Salary

OMR 2,500 to OMR 3,500

Key Responsibilities

Security Architecture Ownership
Design and implement security frameworks across cloud, network, and application environments. Ensure systems are secure by design.

Threat Detection and Response
Monitor systems using SIEM tools, investigate incidents, and lead response efforts to mitigate risks quickly and effectively.

Vulnerability Management
Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing coordination, and remediation planning.

Compliance and Governance
Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain documentation and support audits.

Collaboration and Advisory
Work closely with engineering and IT teams to embed security best practices into all projects and operations.

What We Are Looking For

Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related roles.

Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.

Tools and Platforms
Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and cloud security platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Certifications
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are highly preferred.

Mindset
You are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance security best practices with business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RO2,500.000 - RO3,000.000 per month
