Overview

The Role

• Proven security industry experience in a senior Incident Response role at a mid-enterprise organisation, consultancy practice or systems integrator.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of relevant working groups and councils and forums for information security.
• A natural team player, able to communicate and work effectively with all stakeholders.
• Business focused and able to balance the goals of our customers and organizations' Cyberdefense.
• Have an excellent communication and presentation skills regardless of the audience and be able to steer customer and partner thinking and influence technology decisions at the highest level.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A high, demonstrable level of written communication and numeracy skills.
• Has the highest degree of enthusiasm, energy, drive, self-motivation and flexibility, day in, day out.
• Self-starting and self-motivating, able to work under extremely high pressure, producing work of the highest quality against the tightest deadlines.
• Very strong security background with "hands on" experience of large security projects together with excellent understanding of IT / OT security including firewalling, application security, insider threat, malware analysis and social engineering, and the ability to articulate the associated challenges and approaches to audiences of all levels of experience and seniority.
• Has direct experience related to the formulation of information security strategy as part of an IS management structure.
• Multi-vendor security experience, including "next generation" approaches to security challenges such as social engineering and phishing attacks.
• Good infrastructure knowledge, including Active Directory, UNIX / Linux or VMWare, SAN and cloud services, particularly emerging cloud security approaches and CASB.
• Good understanding of typical business operations outside of information security.
