Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our mining company in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, NoSQL, Pandas, and Python with the ability to analyze, interpret, and present large datasets to support data-driven decision-making in mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured mining-related data.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Write efficient SQL and NoSQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Utilize Python and Pandas for advanced data analysis, automation, and predictive modeling.
• Provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency, cost optimization, and resource management in mining projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (geology, operations, and management) to understand data requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all systems.
• Assist in developing data-driven strategies for business growth and process improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, NoSQL, Pandas, and Python.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
