Senior Data Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Architect to design and implement scalable cloud data platforms that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Python, and data modeling, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust data architectures.

The role will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to build modern data solutions and ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture for modern cloud data platforms.
• Architect and optimize Snowflake data warehouse environments.
• Design data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using Snowflake, AWS, Azure, and Python.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for analytics and reporting.
• Create architecture diagrams, workflow diagrams, and data flow documentation.
• Define data standards, governance, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to deliver scalable and high-performance data solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across data initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud data platforms
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation
• Expertise in data modeling techniques (dimensional and relational)
• Experience designing data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data integration solutions
• Strong ability to create architecture diagrams, workflow diagrams, and technical documentation
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
