About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate candidate to join our dynamic team as a Data Engineer. In this role, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will be working on database performance tuning, and enhancing data modeling techniques. You will work closely with data scientists, and other engineers to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Data Modeling and Design: Design and implement efficient data models, including dimensional and normalized models.
• ETL/ELT Development: Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Data Pipeline Optimization: Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Database Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in database queries and indexes.
• Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and leadership to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and maintain data infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Data Security and Privacy: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, NodeJS/JavaScript/React, Python.
• Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Talend).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Experience in designing and optimizing database schemas.
• Understanding of database performance tuning techniques.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling, star schema, snowflake schema).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,400,000.25 - ₹1,840,566.98 per year
