Overview:

The Senior Data Engineer (MDM) is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining

the technical infrastructure that underpins the Master Data Management (MDM)

solution on Azure data estate. This role plays a pivotal part in enabling high-quality,

consistent, and trusted master data across the enterprise by developing robust,

scalable, and efficient data integration and processing solutions.

The ideal candidate is a cloud-native data engineer with deep technical expertise

in Azure data services, data integration patterns, data modelling, and MDM

concepts. They will collaborate closely with architects, analysts, and business

stakeholders to implement reliable data pipelines, ensure data integrity, and optimize

performance within a complex, distributed data environment.

Key Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

· Azure Data Services: Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks,

Azure SQL Database, Azure Event Hubs/Service Bus, Stream Analytics,

Logic Apps.

· Programming & Scripting: Advanced SQL, Python (PySpark, data

processing libraries), JSON, REST APIs.

· Data Integration Patterns: ETL/ELT frameworks, event-driven architecture,

data streaming, CDC.

· MDM Concepts: Data mastering, survivorship, matching/merging,

deduplication, golden record management, hierarchy management.

· Data Modelling: Normalized and dimensional modelling, schema design,

data lineage tracking.

· Performance & Cost Optimization: Distributed data processing, Databricks

cluster tuning, resource autoscaling.

· DevOps Practices: CI/CD for data pipelines, monitoring, logging, and

infrastructure automation.

Preferred Experience

· Hands-on experience with commercial MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica

MDM, Profisee, Microsoft MDS).

· Familiarity with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and

stewardship workflows.

· Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data issues in cloud and hybrid

  • environments.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering,

Information Systems, or related field.

· 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering, with at least 2+

years focused on MDM or data integration projects.

· Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer

Associate, Databricks Certified Data Engineer)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
