Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a dynamic technology team supporting enterprise data platforms and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in modern data engineering tools, cloud-based data platforms, and end-to-end SDLC processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret technical specifications and business requirements

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to define data solutions

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using:

  • Python

  • SQL Server

  • Snowflake

  • Azure Databricks

• Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows

• Develop and maintain data models and schemas for integration and analytics

• Implement data validation and quality control mechanisms

• Execute Unit Testing (UT) and support System Integration Testing (SIT)

• Partner with business teams to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Provide production support, monitoring, and ongoing platform maintenance

• Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and release management

Required Experience

General Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT industry experience

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Experience working within Agile and SDLC frameworks

• Proven design and architecture experience

• Experience working in global delivery models (onshore/offshore/nearshore)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated team player capable of working with minimal supervision

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Python

• SQL Server & relational database concepts

• Azure Databricks

• Snowflake

• ETL development

• Scheduler tools (Autosys / Control-M)

• CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Skills

• PySpark

• Experience in financial systems, capital markets, credit risk, or regulatory application development
