Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for an experienced and business-driven Data Scientist (5+ years) with strong expertise in ERP systems, 3PL logistics, and supply chain analytics. The role focuses on developing advanced predictive and prescriptive models to optimize transportation, warehouse operations, demand forecasting, and inventory planning.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical capability in AI/ML with hands-on experience in logistics workflows, ERP integrations, and supply chain KPIs.

Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Analytics & Modeling

• Develop predictive models for:
• Demand forecasting
• Inventory optimization
• Delivery Time / ETA prediction
• Warehouse slotting & capacity planning
• Build prescriptive models to improve logistics efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Apply AI/ML techniques for route optimization, load planning, and resource utilization.

Data Engineering & Integration

• Extract, transform, and analyze structured data from ERP systems and 3PL platforms.
• Build scalable data pipelines for automated reporting and model deployment.
• Work with APIs and ERP integrations to ensure seamless data flow.
• Maintain data quality, governance, and compliance standards.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Design and maintain dashboards tracking:
• OTIF (On-Time-In-Full)
• Inventory turnover
• Warehouse utilization
• Transportation cost per shipment
• Partner with operations, warehouse, and IT teams to translate business problems into analytical solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Support implementation of AI-driven optimization initiatives.
• Drive data-backed decision-making across supply chain functions.

Required Skills & ExperienceExperience

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science / Advanced Analytics.
• Minimum 2–3 years working in logistics, supply chain, ERP, or 3PL environments.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python or R
• Hands-on experience with ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Advanced SQL and experience with data warehouses
• Experience with Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop) – preferred
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
• Knowledge of APIs and ERP data integrations

Domain Expertise

• Experience with ERP platforms such as:
• SAP S/4HANA
• Oracle ERP Cloud
• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Understanding of:
• Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Supply chain planning & forecasting processes
• Exposure to high-volume e-commerce or retail logistics preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience in AI-driven supply chain optimization.
• Exposure to IoT data analytics in logistics environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,100,000.00 per year
