Senior Data Scientist

The Senior Data Scientist is responsible for developing and maintaining data analytics solutions and machine learning algorithms. The position is direct hire and onsite, located in Arlington, VA.

In this role, responsible for building end-to-end data science and AI solutions that deliver measurable business value by working across the full analytics lifecycle, including requirements gathering, data generation and transformation, model development, testing, deployment, and model serving. The position emphasizes creating scalable, automated, and maintainable software solutions while minimizing technical debt and supporting future business needs.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in an analytical field with at least 10 years of experience, or a master’s degree in data science or a related discipline, along with strong proficiency in Python and data manipulation libraries such as Spark, Pandas, or Polars.

Experience applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques including supervised and unsupervised learning, distributed ML frameworks, and AI model evaluation is required, with preferred exposure to PySpark using the Spark SQL API, AI-driven analytics, data visualization using native Python libraries, software development best practices, simulation methodologies, and open-source optimization tools.
