Senior GenAI Data Scientist

We're supporting a global organization that is already seeing real business impact from Generative AI, with solutions successfully deployed across multiple international markets.

They're now looking for a Senior GenAI Data Scientist to join a highly collaborative cross-functional team and help scale these AI solutions globally.

This is not a research-only role. You'll be working on production AI systems that are already delivering value, helping to optimize, scale, benchmark and continuously improve them as they expand into new markets.

What You'll Be Doing

• Taking ownership of existing GenAI workstreams following a structured handover
• Scaling proven AI solutions into additional international markets
• Gathering stakeholder feedback and translating business requirements into technical delivery
• Continuously improving AI systems through experimentation, evaluation and optimization
• Monitoring the rapidly evolving AI landscape and assessing emerging models
• Benchmarking models against performance, latency and cost metrics
• Driving best practice across GenAI development and deployment
• Collaborating with product, engineering and business stakeholders across multiple teams
• Documenting solutions, findings and recommendations clearly and effectively

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years' experience as a Data Scientist
• Strong experience delivering AI and Machine Learning solutions in production environments
• Advanced Python development skills with a focus on maintainable, production-grade code
• Experience building and scaling Generative AI solutions
• Strong understanding of LLM evaluation, benchmarking and optimization
• Experience with MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and model deployment
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience building and consuming APIs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable working autonomously within Agile environments

Contract: Interim payroll assignment (No ZZP)

Duration: Long-term assignment intended

Rate: 95 - 105 per hour OR 140K gross
