Location: Remote role EST hours

Visa: GC/USC is preferred but H1B works too.

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Scientist for an urgent contract to support critical GTM, Marketing, and Customer Success initiatives. This is not a product engineering role. It is a business‑facing, analytics‑driven position focused on developing, enhancing, and operationalizing lead scoring and propensity‑to‑buy models that directly influence revenue‑generating teams. The ideal candidate combines strong machine‑learning expertise with exceptional business communication skills and can operate independently in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with GTM, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to understand business goals and translate them into actionable data science solutions
• Build, refine, and operationalize lead scoring, propensity‑to‑buy, and other commercial ML models using Salesforce data, third‑party data providers, and enterprise data sources
• Maintain and enhance existing ML models to ensure continuity, stability, and improved performance
• Create clear business and technical artifacts, including

Ø Data flows

Ø Customer archetypes

Ø Model outputs

Ø Analytical insights and recommendations

• Communicate model results and data‑driven insights in simple, non‑technical language tailored for business audiences
• Collaborate with external data vendors to evaluate, integrate, and manage third‑party datasets
• Work independently to quickly understand existing pipelines, ramp up fast, and contribute immediately

Required Skills & Experiencs

• Strong business communication skills — able to engage independently with GTM, Marketing, Customer Success, data vendors, and cross‑functional teams.
• Nice to have is experience building propensity‑to‑buy, lead scoring, conversion likelihood, or similar commercial ML models.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake Cortex ML or similar ML platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Experience operationalizing models using Salesforce and enterprise data sources.
• Ability to quickly understand existing models and enhance them without disrupting production workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear business‑facing documentation and technical artifacts
• Comfortable working in a large‑scale, cross‑functional environment with multiple stakeholders.
