About the Role

NorthBay Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in GenAI and AI/ML. The candidate will build, fine-tune, and deploy AI/ML models, integrate them with enterprise systems, and support AI initiatives on cloud and hybrid infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, fine-tune, and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) including LLAMA, Mistral, and GPT.
• Implement Agentic AI, multi-agent systems, and RAG workflows.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models integrated with enterprise systems.
• Work with vector databases, LangChain, Langraph, and other GenAI toolchains.
• Apply advanced prompt engineering and Chain-of-Thought techniques.
• Deploy AI/ML models on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and maintain production pipelines.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for AI/ML solutions.

Technical Requirements

• GenAI & AI/ML Skills: 2–3 years hands-on experience with LLMs and GenAI applications.
• Programming & ML Frameworks: Proficient in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Data & Database Skills: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• API & Integration: Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and model integration.
• Cloud & Deployment: Hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker, Lambda, Azure ML, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Strong communication skills to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
