Senior Deals & Value Creation Partner

The Senior Deals & Value Creation Partner will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex transactions (M&A, carve‑outs, JVs, and minority‑stakes) and associated value‑creation programs across the portfolio or business units. You will act as the trusted advisor to senior management and investors, shaping the deal strategy, commercial and operational value‑creation thesis, and post‑deal execution plans to maximize returns and strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Strategy & Origination

  • Identify and develop strategic M&A, divestiture, and partnership opportunities aligned with the organization’s growth and portfolio strategy.
  • Lead commercial and operational due diligence, sector research, and target screening; define deal thesis, valuation, and key commercial assumptions.
  • Advise on structuring transactions (equity, JV, earn‑outs, governance) to optimize value, risk, and control.

Value‑Creation Planning & Execution

  • Design and lead pre‑ and post‑deal value‑creation programs across revenue growth, margin improvement, cost‑to‑serve optimization, asset‑turn and capital‑efficiency levers.
  • Translate diligence insights into 100‑day and 1‑year value‑creation roadmaps, KPIs, and accountability frameworks for each asset or business unit.
  • Monitor and track realized value, adjusting interventions and resource allocation to ensure targets are met.

Stakeholder & Board Advisory

  • Serve as the lead relationship manager for C‑suite, board members, and investors (including private equity, sovereign‑wealth‑linked entities, and family‑owned groups).
  • Present deal strategies, value‑creation plans, and performance dashboards in a clear, quantitative, and action‑oriented manner.
  • Manage expectations across sellers, buyers, joint‑venture partners, and regulators, ensuring alignment on value and governance.

Team & Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams (strategy, commercial, operations, finance, HR, ESG) through the full deal lifecycle.
  • Ensure tight integration between transaction design, integration or separation plans, and long‑term corporate strategy.
  • Build and institutionalize value‑creation methodologies, playbooks, and governance frameworks across the organization.

Thought Leadership & Market Positioning

  • Share insights on M&A, value‑creation best practices, and sector‑specific levers to strengthen the firm’s or group’s reputation as a deal‑and‑value leader.
  • Represent the organization at industry forums, investor‑roundtables, and board‑level discussions to influence deal and strategy agendas.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced finance / strategy qualification strongly preferred.

Professional Background

  • 12–18+ years of experience in M&A, private‑equity value creation, corporate development, or strategy‑and‑transactions advisory.
  • Proven track record leading or co‑leading complex transactions with a clear focus on executed deals and realized value, not just advisory reports.
  • Experience working with private equity, sovereign‑wealth‑linked entities, or large conglomerates in the GCC/Middle East region is highly advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong financial acumen: LBO/IRR modeling, valuation (DCF, comps, precedents), and synergy quantification.
  • Deep understanding of commercial and operational value levers (pricing, channel mix, procurement, supply chain, footprint, productivity).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, able to influence senior stakeholders and boards.
  • Comfortable leading cross‑functional teams under tight timelines and high pressure.
