The Role

This position forms part of an Expression of Interest (EOI) for upcoming and secured large-scale infrastructure and roads projects in Riyadh. The Senior Design Manager will lead the delivery of complex multidisciplinary design packages for major urban, infrastructure, and transport developments. The role requires strong leadership, extensive design management experience, and the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines to successfully shape urban infrastructure across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary design teams for infrastructure and roads projects from concept to delivery.
Coordinate design inputs across roads, utilities, drainage, and structures.
Manage design programmes, resources, and deliverables to meet project requirements.
Act as the main design interface with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with KSA standards and approval processes.

Key Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
15+ years’ experience in infrastructure and roads design delivery.
Proven experience managing large-scale projects in Riyadh and the Middle East.
Strong background working with KSA authorities and approval processes.
Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary design teams.

Key Knowledge and Skills

Strong expertise in infrastructure and roads design management.
Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interfaces.
Sound knowledge of KSA design standards and authority requirements.
Experience managing design programmes, risks, and deliverables.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
