Senior Design Manager - Infrastructure (Wet Utilities) - PMC role

Dubai, UAE (with regular Abu Dhabi site involvement to begin with)

A leading PMC consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Design Manager – Infrastructure for a large-scale master-planned island villa development in Abu Dhabi.

This is a long-term opportunity based in Dubai, with several days per week initially required on site in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work across multiple future developments from the Dubai head office as the project pipeline continues to grow.

The role will oversee full infrastructure design management across a major island-based development, including:

• Wet utilities

• Sewerage & drainage networks

• Pump stations

• Utilities and bridge interface coordination

The key focus for this position is strong wet utilities technical expertise. We are specifically looking for someone who started their career as a hands-on wet utilities designer before progressing into design management, with the technical capability to identify design and authority challenges before submission stages.

Requirements:

• Strong wet utilities design background

• Previous experience with an international consultant / PMC

• Abu Dhabi project experience is essential

• Strong technical leadership and coordination skills

• Experience managing authority approvals and stakeholder coordination

• Strong understanding of sewer design, drainage, pump stations and utility interfaces

• Ability to challenge technical solutions and authority comments where required

• Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure packages within master-planned developments
