SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

R O C H A Design Studio is a boutique Interior design studio located in Pacific Palisades, CA. We focus on luxury commercial, residential & hospitality projects. Currently we are looking for a passionate Senior Level designer who has the ability to work collaboratively with other designers and consultants, and most importantly, can lead their own design projects with a sense of ownership, integrity and responsibility.

Act as Senior Interior designer under guidance of Creative Director. Develop & manage custom FF&E Designs for unique furnishings, ongoing coordination with Project consultants, assist in creating and maintaining project budget(s), FF&E spec books, and the direct coordination of Interior's project drawing set(s). Manage the oversight of project specific procurement processes during the fabrication period, etc.

• Lead Project Design team(s) with design planning and FF&E concepts
• Develop, Detail, Review & Redline Drawing sets for all typical Phases of the Design process
• Provide prelim FF&E budget to PM
• Work within final budget, schedules, and timelines
• Review FF&E drawings for a variety of custom furnishings, lighting and related to ensure quality control and design vision is carried through accordingly
• Lead project presentations
• Communicate clearly, proactively and timely with internal team and vendors
• Attend project meetings and site visits either alone or with Principal(s)
• Assist PM with on-site project installations, as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree required for Interior Design or Architecture.

• 5 years minimum experience in residential interior design field.

• Experience required in sourcing and selection of interior and architectural finishes.

• Have a strong understanding of construction, materials and methods.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and hand sketching.

• Experience in SketchUp and Photoshop or other 3D programs.

• Detail oriented.

1. Auto CAD

2. Sketch Up

3. Microsoft Office Excel or Numbers, Word or Pages, Powerpoint or KeyNote, 4. In Design

5. Photoshop + Illustrator or other 3D programs

6. Google Docs and Google Drive Platform

7. HouzzPro system, a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
