Senior Designer

We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our growing Interiors team at Strohmaier Design & Build, working out of our office in Spokane, Wa.

5-8 years of experience, College Certificate or Associate's Degree

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Design Director with the ability to handle most phases and details for small scale projects independently
• Direct involvement with clients
• Able to design “constructible” solutions
• Responsible for all phases and activities of design projects assigned, including but not limited to programming and data gathering, space planning, furniture layouts, development of contract drawings, product specification, budgeting, presentations to the client, and job site supervision
• Full understanding of details & notes in construction documents and specifications
• Prepare CD’s with minimal help from the Design Director
• Technically proficient in AutoCad, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite
• Must be able to communicate as team, accept responsibility for own mistakes
• Maintains complete control of their own schedule
• Dedicated and willing to assume any task assigned to independently identify and perform administrative tasks
• Maintain design proficiency by attending seminars and workshops
• Actively participates in a networking group benefiting both the designer and the company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
