We're seeking a Senior Deskside Support Technician in the Greenwood, IN and ability to commute within the Indianapolis, IN market. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your IT career by working with enterprise-level systems and providing high-level technical support to our diverse client base. You'll serve as a senior technical resource, handling complex issues and maintaining critical infrastructure.
What You'll Need:
Experience Requirements:
- 4-6 years of IT support and systems administration experience
- Proven track record in enterprise environment troubleshooting and system management
Education (One of the following):
- High School diploma with required experience above
- Associate's degree or higher in an IT-related field
- Relevant professional IT certifications
Required Certifications:
- CompTIA A+ (minimum or equivalent work experience)
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+ preferred
- Microsoft 365 Administrator Associate or equivalent a plus
What You'll Do:
- Manage and work within Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Azure infrastructure
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies
- Resolve complex technical issues escalated from lower-tier support
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows and Mac OS environments
- Serve as subject matter expert for critical system failures and outages
- Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Coordinate with client success and account management teams
- Document technical procedures and maintain system documentation
- Work directly with clients on complex technical projects
- Provide technical consultation and recommendations
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and maintain high customer satisfaction
Skills We're Looking For:
Technical Expertise:
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting and infrastructure management
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Customer service orientation with professional demeanor
- Mentoring and knowledge transfer capabilities
