Job Title: Senior DevSecOps engineer
Location: Ahmedabad

Minimum 5 plus years of experience is required

1. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Managing and optimizing

CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing, integration, and deployment of secure

applications.

2. Infrastructure Management: Designing and deploying secure infrastructure

configurations. Implementing best practices for scalability, availability, and security within

cloud environments (AWS). Managing versioning and tracking of configuration changes

to maintain stability and reliability.

3. Database Management: Implement database security best practices, including access

controls, encryption, and auditing. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery

solutions for database systems.

4. Incident Response and Monitoring: Setting up and maintaining security monitoring

tools and responding to security incidents promptly, including investigation, mitigation,

and post-incident analysis.

5. Monitoring and Logging: Setting up monitoring tools to monitor the performance and

health of applications and infrastructure. Configuring logging systems to capture and

analyze logs for troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security incident

detection.

6. Security Automation: Implementing automated security controls and checks throughout

the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure continuous security monitoring and

compliance.

7. Secure Development Practices: Collaborating with development teams to embed

security best practices into application code, including vulnerability assessments, secure

coding guidelines, and code reviews.

8. Compliance and Auditing: Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry

standards through regular audits, assessments, and documentation.

9. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conducting risk assessments for infrastructure and

applications, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing mitigation strategies to reduce

security risks.

10. Training and Awareness: Educating teams on security best practices, emerging

threats, and the importance of security throughout the development lifecycle.

Contributing to the development of documentation, wikis, and knowledge bases to share

best practices and maintain institutional knowledge.

11. Tooling and Integration: Evaluating, selecting, and integrating security tools and

technologies (e.g., vulnerability scanners, security information and event management

systems) into the DevOps pipeline.

12. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Designing and implementing strategies

for disaster recovery and business continuity to minimize downtime and ensure data

integrity during unexpected events.

13. Proactive Issue Identification and Management: Proactively identify potential issues

and challenges before they become critical problems.

14. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with project

owners/managers (PO/PM) and developers, both in meetings and through written

communication.
