About the Role

Bay Systems Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Engineer with expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform tools to support SAIC and the U.S. Space Force PNT Enterprise. In this role, you will design and develop advanced analytics solutions, interactive dashboards, and digital engineering workflows that support enterprise-wide decision-making and mission success.

At SAIC, we support the U.S. Space Force Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Enterprise, a mission-critical system that ensures resilient GPS capabilities for both military and civilian use worldwide.

This position requires an active Secret clearance (Top Secret/SCI preferred) and offers the opportunity to support one of the most critical national security programs.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and interpret business requirements, translating them into actionable digital engineering and data solutions.
• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring accuracy, usability, and visual appeal to support decision-making across multiple domains.
• Perform data transformation, modeling, and cleaning using Power Query and DAX.
• Integrate Power BI solutions with other Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) to streamline workflows and automate processes.
• Optimize Power BI performance by managing datasets, refresh schedules, and Workspaces/Apps for efficient data retrieval.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to end-users to ensure adoption and effective use of Power BI solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of systems engineering, digital engineering, or data analytics experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Power BI.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power Platform, business intelligence, relational databases, and data sciences.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working across diverse teams.

Desired Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, database management, and business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance best practices.
• Prior experience working with DoD organizations.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
