Position Summary

The Senior Director, HR Operations will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of HR operations, including Total Rewards, HR systems, payroll, compliance, and HR process optimization.

This role requires a strategic leader with hands-on execution capability to support a growing and dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HR Operations including compensation, benefits, HRIS, payroll, and compliance
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems
• Oversee Total Rewards strategy and execution
• Manage HR technology platforms, including system implementation and optimization
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal policies
• Support HR audits and risk management activities
• Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning and organizational development
• Lead and develop HR teams, including senior-level staff
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
• Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience
• Minimum 10 years of HR leadership experience at Director level or above
• Strong experience in:
• Compensation and benefits
• HRIS and payroll systems
• HR compliance and audits
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or similar complex environments preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage HR operations in a fast-paced, high-growth organization
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

Work Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Charlotte, NC four (4) days per week
• One (1) day remote work permitted

Screening Criteria

• 15+ years of progressive HR experience with relevant functional expertise
• 10+ years of leadership experience at Director level or higher
• Experience managing HR operations in a growth-oriented environment
• Willingness to work in a hybrid (onsite) model
• Preference for candidates located in or near the Charlotte, NC area
