As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of strategies designed to increase visibility, engagement, and growth for the organization. You will manage a team focused on strengthening the brand’s reputation and expanding its reach through a mix of marketing, promotional, and outreach efforts.
Responsibilities
· Lead a team of 10 marketing professionals and external partners, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management
· Oversee a $1M marketing budget and drive strategies to boost lead generation and conversion
· Implement integrated digital campaigns using SEO, SEM, email, social media, and content marketing
· Foster a collaborative, innovative team culture that encourages experimentation and idea sharing
· Partner with sales to align goals, strengthen customer engagement, and expand market reach
· Develop campaigns to enhance client retention, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities
· Oversee creation and approval of all marketing and communications materials
· Manage public relations efforts, including agency partnerships and media representation
· Promote thought leadership and strategic partnerships to elevate brand authority
· Track and report on marketing performance, optimizing efforts for stronger ROI
· Build cross-department relationships to ensure alignment on organizational goals
· Contribute to the company-wide strategy as part of the leadership team and support enterprise initiatives
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience; master’s degree preferred
· 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications roles
· 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams or major initiatives
· Proficient in CRM platforms such as Salesforce
· Background in nonprofit or donor-focused organizations strongly preferred
· Strong ability to analyze complex issues, anticipate outcomes, and make sound strategic decisions
· Skilled at interpreting and applying data to guide marketing and business decisions
· Proven track record of successful collaboration in achieving project or organizational goals
· Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
· Highly organized with strong project management and prioritization skills
Compensation
· Salary: $120,000 -$135,000
