Senior Director - People Enablement & Organization Culture

Our client is a leading regional bank, looking for a senior people leader to drive enterprise-wide initiatives focused on employee experience, organisational culture, and inclusive performance. This role sits within Group Human Resources and partners closely with executive leadership to support long-term people and business priorities across a multi-entity, multi-geography environment.

About the Role

This is a high-impact leadership role, designed to shape people experience and cultural outcomes within large, complex organisations. The successful candidate will operate at both strategic and executional levels, translating broad people priorities into scalable, measurable initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise-wide people experience and engagement initiatives aligned with business strategy
  • Shape and deliver programs that strengthen organisational culture, leadership effectiveness, and employee connection
  • Drive inclusive performance practices across the organisation, supported by data and workforce insights
  • Oversee Group-level initiatives spanning engagement, recognition, and workforce well-being
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to embed people priorities into leadership and decision-making
  • Use employee data, market insights, and feedback to evaluate impact and inform continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with HR leaders and external partners to ensure consistent delivery across regions
  • Manage budgets, resources, and a small team delivering Group-wide people initiatives
Required Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline
  • 15+ years of experience in senior people, culture, or transformation roles within large organisations
  • Experience operating in a multinational, matrixed environment (financial services experience preferred)
  • Strong ability to influence and advise senior leaders and executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-regional initiatives
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong awareness of global people and future-of-work trends
