Würth Professional Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic E-commerce Manager to lead and drive our digital commerce growth in the B2B sector, particularly in the UAE/GCC region. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining and executing the e-commerce strategy, managing all aspects of our online platform operations, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a best-in-class digital experience for our professional customers.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Strategy & Operations
- Develop and Execute Strategy: Define and implement the comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive B2B online sales, enhance the customer journey, and align digital initiatives with overall business and sales objectives in the UAE market.
- Platform Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, including product data integrity, pricing, promotions, inventory display, and user account management.
- Catalog & Content Optimization: Manage, maintain, and optimize online product catalogs and product information (descriptions, images, specifications) within the Product Information Management (PIM) system to ensure accuracy and appeal.
- Digital Procurement Solutions: Drive and support the integration of e-procurement solutions (e.g., OCI punch-out, cXML, EDI connections) for key B2B customers, acting as the primary coordinator between IT, Sales, and the customer.
Digital Marketing & Optimization
- Performance Marketing: Plan and execute digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email campaigns, and potential social media/display advertising, to drive targeted traffic and increase product visibility.
- Data Analysis & CRO: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, sales, and customer behavior using tools like Google Analytics and internal reporting systems. Implement A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.
- User Experience (UX/UI): Continuously monitor and improve the website's functionality, design, and user experience to ensure intuitive navigation, optimal search functionality, and mobile responsiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Relevant Industry Experience: Prior experience in the B2B industrial supply, construction materials, power/automation technology, or similar distribution sectors is highly preferred.
- Competitive Company Exposure: Experience gained while working at a market player like ABB, Hilti, Fischer, Fastenal, Grainger, or similar multinational industrial/B2B suppliers, is a significant advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in an E-commerce, Digital Marketing, or Platform Management role, specifically within the B2B or industrial distribution environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., SAP Commerce/Hybris, Magento, BigCommerce) and Content Management Systems (CMS) or PIM systems.
- B2B E-Procurement Knowledge: Strong understanding of e-procurement processes and tools (EDI, e-catalogs, OCI, cXML) is highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills, with proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and advanced Excel/reporting capabilities.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Solid knowledge of digital marketing techniques, especially SEO best practicesand paid advertising (SEM/PPC).
