Senior Editor / Storyteller

We’re a design + experiential agency with a strong post-production department (editors, artists, animators, CGI, etc) supporting major brand work across video, live events, and integrated campaigns. We’re hiring a Senior Editor who brings exceptional storytelling craft and a high-end creative eye. Someone who can elevate ideas, shape narratives, and deliver polished work with confidence.

This role is for an editor who doesn’t simply assemble assets - you help define what the story is, how it feels, and why it works.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead edits from concept through finish: narrative structure, pacing, tone, performance, and emotion
  • Contribute and develop creative approaches up front (concept hooks, story arcs, visual references)
  • Collaborate with producers/PMs and project manage as needed to keep work moving
  • Execute and/or direct key finishing components, including:
  • motion graphics (After Effects)
  • design and typography sensibility
  • color and finishing taste (Resolve or equivalent workflows)
  • music sourcing and selection
  • sound design and SFX polish
  • Partner with production teams and external vendors as needed; help ensure inputs (footage, design, audio) meet a premium standard
  • Prepare and QC deliverables for large LED screens and event playback, including atypical resolutions/aspect ratios, multi-screen formats, and venue-specific technical requirements.
  • Present work to clients clearly and professionally; translate feedback into strong creative solutions

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong reel/portfolio demonstrating premium storytelling, craft, and taste
  • Excellent editorial instincts plus a working understanding of the broader post pipeline
  • Confidence communicating creative decisions to both internal teams and clients
  • A collaborative, high-ownership style
  • Reliable under pressure, steady, and solutions-oriented
  • High standards without ego: you raise the bar while making the team better

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
  • Strong working knowledge of After Effects
  • Excellent visual taste in design, typography, and layout
  • Solid fundamentals in:
  • color workflow (DaVinci Resolve or comparable; you don’t need to be a specialist, but you must have strong finishing judgment)
  • audio fundamentals (dialogue cleanup, mixing balance, music + SFX integration)
  • Large-format deliverables and formatting, with comfort prepping content for:
  • very large LED canvases and non-standard aspect ratios
  • scaling, safe zones, legibility, and viewing-distance considerations
  • multi-output deliverables (alternate crops, versions, and on-site playback needs)

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience developing concepts or pitching creative approaches to clients
  • Experience sourcing/leading shoots or working closely with production crews
  • Experience collaborating with CGI/3D teams and providing clear creative direction
  • Experience creating large-format and/or multi-screen content for live productions (ballrooms, conference stages, experiential installs, diverse venues, concerts), including atypical canvases and show environments

Non-Negotiables (Read Before Applying)

This role is a strong fit for people who bring excellence to both the work and the team. Please do not apply if these aren’t true for you:

  • Work ethic: You consistently put thought and effort into what you do. You take pride in craft, follow through, and you don’t need to be chased
  • Intelligence + ownership: You approach problems with confidence. You’re proactive, you think ahead, you communicate early, and you bring solutions, not surprises
  • Kindness: You assume positive intent, work well with others, and contribute to a healthy team. You help when needed, are open to feedback, share credit, and celebrate other people’s wins

If you’re exceptionally talented but you’re not aligned with the above, this won’t be the right environment… and we won’t be the right team for you.

How to Apply

Please be sure to include:

  • Your reel/portfolio link
  • A brief note highlighting your role on 2–3 pieces (e.g., concept, edit, motion, color, sound, production coordination)
  • A final note on what your favorite office snack is ;)
