Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Grade A)

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer (Part-Time) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate must hold a Grade A classification and demonstrate strong expertise in electrical design for building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and approve electrical design drawings (LV, MV systems, lighting, power distribution, grounding, ELV systems where applicable).
• Prepare load calculations, single line diagrams (SLD), schematics, and panel schedules.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, international codes (IEC, NEC, BS), and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and civil teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Conduct technical reviews of shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built drawings.
• Provide value engineering solutions to optimize design efficiency and cost.
• Support tender documentation and technical evaluation when required.
• Attend coordination meetings (on-site or virtual) as needed.

Requirements

• Must hold Grade A Electrical Engineer classification (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in electrical design for building/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, load calculations, and electrical codes.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, or equivalent.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
