Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge in electrical engineering, a proven track record of successfully leading projects, and a passion for innovation and problem-solving. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting a range of electrical systems, and you will play a key role in the growth and success of our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical engineering team in design, planning, and execution of large-scale projects.
• Develop power distribution, lighting, earthing, and ELV system designs.
• Ensure designs meet IEEE, IEC, and local authority standards.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality control.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Manage coordination between contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Lead the commissioning and handover process for electrical systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience.
• Active IEEE membership required.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (IEEE, IEC, NEC, NFPA).
• Proven experience leading large-scale MEP/electrical projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-handling skills.
• Proficiency in ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, and relevant design software.
