Senior Electrical Engineer

Probuilder is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of electrical systems across our building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in the design and implementation of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-current systems .

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
• Perform load calculations and select appropriate equipment (circuit breakers, transformers, cables, etc.).
• Review and approve subcontractor and vendor submissions.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical design for building systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (e.g., Dialux, ETAP).
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEC, or other relevant codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent is a plus.

• Experience with sustainable and energy-efficient design practices.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination.
• Understanding of integration with mechanical systems like HVAC (for coordination purposes, not design).
