Role Overview:

The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for supervising and reviewing all electrical works across infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to approved designs, specifications, and applicable standards. The role includes reviewing electrical design and shop drawings, monitoring site implementation, and overseeing quality control to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and provide feedback on electrical design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and LV systems.
• Monitor site execution to ensure adherence to approved construction methodologies and safety standards.
• Conduct inspections, witness testing, and verify contractor compliance with project specifications.
• Review technical correspondences, RFIs, and submittals, providing timely professional input.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges in coordination with design and construction teams.
• Ensure that all electrical works meet required standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience .
• Proven experience reviewing electrical designs and shop drawings.
• Must have experience working in roads, bridges, and tunnels projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (IEC, NFPA, SEC, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
