Senior Electrical Engineer – Design Consultancy & Supervision

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi office. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical design review, construction supervision, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that projects are delivered in accordance with applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering design and supervision activities for building and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare, review, and approve electrical designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and testing & commissioning procedures.
• Supervise electrical installation works and ensure compliance with approved designs, project specifications, and relevant standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to supervision teams.
• Support project planning, risk management, and value engineering initiatives.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, utility providers, and local authorities.
• Assist in resolving technical and construction-related issues.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Must be a Abu Dhabi Municipality Approved Engineer and possess approvals/accreditations from other relevant UAE governing authorities, as applicable.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering consultancy, including both electrical design and construction supervision.
• Proven experience in building services electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, emergency power, earthing, lightning protection, ELV systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of international electrical codes and standards.
• Experience reviewing electrical designs, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
