1- QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Chartered Engineer, SOE certified, or equivalent.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in Electrical and I&C with relevant experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and Pumping stations is a must.

Must have engineering consultancy experience.
-
Excellent communication in English and client-facing skills.
-
Knowledge of International codes and Standards (IEC, IEEE, ISA, NEC, ATEX)
-
Knowledge of Standards and Specification of major clients in utility section in Saudi, UAE, Oman, Qatar region.

MV/LV distribution system design.
-
MV/LV Substation Design.
-
Knowledge on how to read schematic wiring of various electrical and control panels.
-
Knowledge of MV/LV Switchgears, MCCs, MV and LV VFD panels, Transformers, Generators, UPS, DC System, etc.
-
Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis, Motor Starting Study, Arc Flash and Protection coordination study using ETAP software.
-
Instruments, Analyzers, Sensors working principle and its selection as per measurement medium, working condition and Hazardous zone classifications.
-
Process Control & Safety Systems (DCS, PLC, ESD and F&G)
-
Safety and Security systems like CCTV, Access Control System, Intrusion Protection System, PAGA and Telecomm Systems, Public WIFI.
-
Vibration and Condition Monitoring Systems
-
Ethernet, Field Bus, Profibus, MODBUS, IEC61850, DNP3 segments, IOT systems, ICT networks / Fiber Optics Networks, Power Line Communication and Wireless communication

Substation Automation system and interface to various switchgears, control panels etc. and Energy Management system

Knowledge of HAZOP and CHAZOP review and SIL calculation Study.

Interface skills in departments like Civil, Mechanical, Process, HVAC etc. and other Packaged Equipment.
