Senior Electrician - leading to operations/estimating role

4 days on tools and 1 day in the office initially, leading to more days in office as we grow and future earnings potential

We’ve had an engineer leave to setup on his own, he still works for and alongside us when we’re busy, we need to replace him, whilst also planning for the growth we’re seeing.

We’re looking for a person who wants to be part of scaling a business from £500,000 to £2,000,000+ and who wants to learn and grow personally along the way

This role will be good for 2 types of people:

1 - those who are looking to take the next steps in their career, who have experience as an electrician, who are looking to grow within a company and learn the ropes as they go.

2 - Those who have previously, or are currently, trading as sole traders, or small LTD businesses, but not enjoying the stress of managing everything on their own. Come and do the bits you enjoy, leave the rest to our team. Any clients/work brought in will be rewarded with a profit share for that work.

We recently had an engineer who had a serious health issue, we raised money and donated to support him through this time, whilst paying above and beyond what was in his contract to support him and his family

We meet regularly for socials, once a month usually, including xmas days out (all paid for by company).

Tablet, uniform, van and fuel card provided.

Applicant must live in UK, within 30 minutes drive of Southampton

Majority of our work is within the area from New Forest across to Portsmouth and up to Winchester/Alton.

We require a minimum of 5-7 years of qualified electrical experience, 8-10 years including apprenticeship

Driving license required - minimum 3 years driving

BS7671 Minimum qualification & apprenticeship/NVQ certification essential

2391 is essential, or you must be willing to do this course within 3 months of joining

Current work is a mix of 30% domestic, 50% commercial, 10% solar PV, 10% Electric vehicle charging/fire/emergency lighting/DATA

Call outs weekdays (not usually past 19:00) and occasional weekend work required

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
