Job Description:

The Engineer will be responsible for the complete supervision of all project execution phases at the designated sites, from site handover to the final delivery to the client, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy in line with the approved designs and technical specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all phases of electromechanical projects, from initial design to final handover.
• Review and approve shop drawings and technical specifications for Electrical, HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems.
• Manage on-site teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Effectively coordinate with all project stakeholders, including architects, civil engineers, consultants, and clients.
• Supervise the testing and commissioning process, ensuring all systems perform efficiently.
• Prepare and submit regular technical progress reports to project management.
• Resolve complex technical issues that may arise during project execution.
• Blueprint Review: Ability to read, analyze, and accurately implement detailed engineering and design drawings on-site.
• Quality Assurance: Implementing high-quality standards throughout all execution phases, inspecting materials used, and ensuring their compliance with specifications.
• Coordination and Follow-up: Continuous coordination with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure workflow harmony and prevent conflicts.
• Reporting: Submitting periodic progress reports, documenting all project stages, and identifying any challenges or obstacles.
• Resource Management: Supervising and directing on-site labor, and ensuring the optimal use of materials and equipment.
• Occupational Safety: Implementing health and safety procedures on-site to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in the MEP field.
• Technical Knowledge: Proven, in-depth expertise in electrical power, distribution, and control systems, as well as HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Software Proficiency: High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and project management software such as Primavera or MS Project.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a high aptitude for problem-solving.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project) is preferred.
• Personal Skills:
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to effectively manage work teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• License: Must possess a valid Qatari driving license.
