Senior Elementor WordPress Technical Expert – Problem Solver & Site Maintenance Lead

We are seeking a highly capable, proactive, and available Elementor WordPress Technical Expert who thrives on solving problems fast. This role is about keeping our websites running smoothly — fixing issues as they appear, preventing future problems, and ensuring everything is always optimized, secure, and functional.

Role Overview

You’ll be our go-to technical troubleshooter for all WordPress/Elementor website issues — from spam attacks to plugin conflicts to sudden display errors. While some tasks will involve duplicating and launching new sites or landing pages, the top priority is real-time problem resolution and keeping systems stable.

This role requires someone who is responsive during U.S. business hours, comfortable working independently, and experienced enough to handle unexpected issues across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Issue Response: Diagnose and fix site errors, downtime, broken layouts, plugin conflicts, and hosting-related issues quickly.
• Security & Spam Control: Implement and maintain anti-spam measures, security hardening, and malware prevention/removal.
• Performance Optimization: Improve and maintain site speed, Core Web Vitals, caching, and mobile responsiveness.
• Website Maintenance: Update plugins, themes, and WordPress core without breaking site functionality.
• Landing Page & Site Launches: Duplicate or create new Elementor-based pages/sites when needed, following brand and technical standards.
• Monitoring & Prevention: Proactively identify and fix potential problems before they affect users.
• Hosting & DNS Management: Configure SSL, manage DNS, staging sites, and server-level settings.
• Quality Assurance: Test sites across devices and browsers before going live or after any major changes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience with WordPress & Elementor Pro.
• Proven track record of independently solving urgent site issues.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both frontend and backend problems.
• Experience with security hardening (Wordfence, Cloudflare, etc.) and spam prevention tools.
• Proficient in custom CSS, HTML, and basic JavaScript for quick fixes.
• Comfortable with hosting environments (cPanel, Plesk, SSH) and migration tools.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices related to site health and speed.
• Available during standard U.S. working hours for quick turnaround on urgent issues.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with WP CLI, Git, or automated deployment workflows.
• Experience with ACF, CPTs, and dynamic content.
• Ability to integrate APIs or custom functionality.
