About Us
We are an engineering-driven organization developing next-generation smart devices, edge-connected hardware, and advanced electro-mechanical systems. Our work spans embedded electronics, real-time firmware, sensor integration, wearables, industrial/medical equipment, and high-reliability instrumentation.
We are now expanding our team with a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer / Electronics Architect capable of taking product concepts from initial requirements through design, prototyping, iteration, testing, documentation, and into pilot production.
If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, designing elegant embedded systems, and working across hardware, software, and electro-mechanical domains, we want to talk to you.
Role Overview
As the Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, you will lead the development of embedded electronics and firmware across multiple products. You will design ARM-based circuits, write firmware in C/C++, develop tools and utilities for Windows/Linux, perform board bring-up, and work cross-functionally with mechanical, UI/UX, QA, and manufacturing teams.
This role suits a highly experienced engineer who is comfortable being both a hands-on designer and a technical leader.
Key Responsibilities
Embedded Firmware & Software
- Develop firmware in C/C++ for bare-metal, RTOS, and Linux-based systems
- Implement real-time control loops, interrupt-driven processes, and device drivers
- Build utilities, test tools, and GUIs using C#/C++ (Qt, WPF, or similar)
- Integrate embedded systems with PCs and higher-level applications
Electronics Design & Hardware Development
- Architect ARM microcontroller-based circuits and mixed-signal boards
- Perform schematic capture and BOM creation using Altium or OrCAD
- Design communication interfaces: I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, RS-232/485, Ethernet
- Lead PCB bring-up, debugging, and optimization
- Develop calibration, QA, and validation tools for manufacturing
Systems Engineering & Product Development
- Translate product requirements into specifications and system architecture
- Prototype and iterate electronic and electro-mechanical subsystems
- Work with mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams
- Prepare documentation: specifications, manuals, procedures, test plans
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and cross-team coordination
Technical Leadership
- Mentor junior engineers and review their designs/code
- Evaluate new technologies, components, and development approaches
- Provide technical guidance to leadership on feasibility, cost, timelines
- Help transition designs from prototype to pilot production
Required Qualifications
- 10–20+ years of experience in embedded systems and electronics engineering
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems (bare-metal, RTOS, Linux)
- Experience designing ARM-based circuits and digital/analog interfaces
- Expertise with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers
- Skilled with Altium or Cadence/OrCAD for schematic design
- Windows application development experience in C#, C++, Qt, or WPF
- Strong understanding of multi-threading, state machines, and real-time systems
- Experience with full hardware lifecycle: concept → prototype → manufacturing
Preferred Skills
(Not required, but highly valuable)
- Experience with optical sensors, DSP, or image-based measurements
- Exposure to electro-mechanical systems or motor control
- Familiarity with networking (Ethernet, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, BTLE)
- Knowledge of FDA/medical device standards or regulated industries
- Experience leading small engineering teams or project groups
What We Offer
- Meaningful projects with real-world impact
- Freedom to architect systems end-to-end
- A collaborative environment with other engineers
- Competitive compensation
- Opportunity to shape new products from scratch
