SENIOR ENGINEER

Position : Senior Engineer
Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Telecommunications/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Experience Required : 5 years in Mobile Project

Salary : AED 15,000- 17,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define the project scope of work based on customer’s needs and prepare the project implementation plan to deliver the project on time, with optimized quality and cost and up to customer satisfaction
• Participate in engineering committees to evaluate new technical products and solutions and procure them based on successful negotiation skills.
• Adhere to telecommunications laws, regulations and policies as per UAE TDRA (Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority)
• Nominate and develop new mobile indoor sites based on customer’s request and site’s hunting process to assure the availability of mobile indoor coverage wherever required
• Manages interfaces with major customers (e.g. high-rise buildings, hotels, shopping malls, etc.) to facilitate the Mobile IBS planning, testing and installation
• Establishes and maintains effective working relations with concerned Etisalat Departments to provide prompt resolution to clients’ IBS issues/concerns
• Provides inputs in reviewing the performance of contractors and suppliers in terms of project specifications and cost schedule
• Facilitates issue resolution between contractors, advisors and engineering teams that impact projects milestones.
• Generates technical/ operational reports for superiors as required
• project control handling of financials (RFS, capitalization & invoice certification)
• Provides professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions
