Senior Engineer

Helios Business Systems LLC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Service Engineer to lead and support our service operations for industrial printing and digital fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on field experience, and proven team management capabilities within the industrial machinery domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of large-format printing and digital fabrication equipment, including:
• Eco-solvent printers
• UV printers
• CNC routers
• CO₂ laser machines
• Provide advanced technical support for both small-format and large-format printers and CNC machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software-related issues.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of service engineers, ensuring high service quality and timely issue resolution.
• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance schedules and breakdown service activities.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth service operations.
• Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and escalation notes as required.
• Support the sales and applications teams with technical inputs, site evaluations, and machine demonstrations when needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on service experience with large-format printers, CNC routers, and CO₂ laser systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (mandatory).
• Additional qualifications such as Postgraduate degrees or specialized technical certifications will be an added advantage.
• Strong experience working with industrial machine trading companies is highly preferred.
• Proven experience handling both small-format and large-format printing systems.
• Prior experience in managing and leading a service engineering team.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory for customer site visits and field service activities.
