Senior Engineer and Operations Manager - Civil Works

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer and Operations Manager to oversee our technical services team, specializing in the laying of kerbs and interlocks.

This role requires strong experience in engineering, operational management, and knowledge of Dubai's legal and regulatory framework. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, cost-effective project execution in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee all project phases, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budgeted delivery. Develop project schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Operations Management: Supervise daily operations, resolve issues, and ensure smooth execution of kerb and interlock laying.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor engineers and technicians, provide training, and support career development.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards, Dubai construction regulations, and safety protocols.
• Legal & Regulatory Knowledge: Stay updated on local laws, ensure projects meet all legal requirements, and handle contract and labor compliance.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain client relationships, provide regular project updates, and address concerns.
• Cost Control & Budgeting: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Health & Safety Management: Enforce health and safety regulations on-site, minimizing accidents and ensuring a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Education: Master’s/Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Relevant certifications (PMP, LEED, NEBOSH, IOSH) are a plus.
• Experience: 8+ years in construction/technical services. Proven experience in kerb/interlock laying or similar projects, and strong knowledge of Dubai’s construction laws and permit processes.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite. In-depth knowledge of safety standards and legal procedures in Dubai.
• Language: Fluent in English and Hindi (Arabic is a plus).
