Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities services team. As SE – O&M, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations and maintenance of our facilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of building systems and equipment. You will also be involved in planning and implementing facility improvement projects, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• To act as the Operations & Maintenance Lead;
• Conduct regular inspections of various systems, equipment, and facilities to identify and rectify any malfunctions or issues as per schedule;
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruptions to operations;
• Troubleshoot and repair Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) systems including PHE and HVAC;
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and work orders ensuring compliance with regulatory standards;
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance in compliance with regulatory standards;
• Perform routine, preventive and corrective maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) systems including PHE and HVAC as per schedule;
• Manage and prioritize work orders, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner;
• Coordinate and oversee external vendors and contractors for specialized repair and maintenance work;
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex issues and identify innovative solutions;
• Allocate work load and supervise all subordinates;
• POC for all maintenance work/ activities;
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs;
• Address employees’ and clients’ queries (via email, phone or in-person);
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance;
• Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned;
• In addition to the above-mentioned duties and job functions, any other assignments given by Management, within the purview of the contract.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering;
• Proven experience of at least 10 years in Operations & Maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) systems including PHE and HVAC along with facility documentation and compliance (PCB, Fire, Electrical, Lift, Municipal, etc.);
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards in the facilities services industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
