Role Overview

The Senior Engineer – Projects will be responsible for end-to-end execution of assigned projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, cost, and quality parameters. The role involves strong on-site leadership, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and hands-on control of engineering, procurement support, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities for BMS, ELV, ICT, FAS, CCTV, ACS and integrated smart building systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & Site Management

• Take complete ownership of assigned projects from handover to final commissioning and closure.
• Plan and execute project activities in line with approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and schedules.
• Lead site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality execution.
• Monitor daily site progress and prepare DPRs, weekly reports, and milestone trackers.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the single-point interface with clients, consultants, PMC, OEMs, and internal teams.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and commercial teams for drawings, material release, and approvals.
• Attend site meetings, technical discussions, and coordination reviews; close actions promptly.

Technical & Quality Control

• Review and implement approved shop drawings, schematics, and method statements.
• Ensure installations comply with relevant standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Identify technical issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure quality checks, inspections, and snag rectifications are completed on time.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Plan and execute system testing, integration, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate OEM commissioning, performance testing, and demonstrations.
• Ensure timely completion of punch lists and snag closures.
• Prepare and submit as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and handover documentation.

Commercial & Risk Support

• Support project cost control by tracking material usage, variations, and site-related risks.
• Identify scope changes and support preparation of variation / change-order documentation.
• Ensure adherence to contractual terms related to scope, timelines, and deliverables.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce site safety practices and compliance with EHS norms.
• Ensure statutory and client safety requirements are met at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in execution of BMS / ELV / MEP / Building Automation / ICT projects.
• Proven experience handling medium to large, multi-system projects.
• Strong understanding of site execution, commissioning, and project controls.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong project coordination and site leadership skills
• Good understanding of drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project (preferred), AutoCAD (basic)
• Clear communication, documentation, and reporting skills
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
