Senior Engineer/Consultant- Noise, Acoustics and Vibration

Description


RWDI specialises in resolving acoustics, noise, vibration, air quality, climate change, wind engineering, and building science issues for a wide array of architectural, engineering, industrial, commercial and government clients. With locations and 800+ people strategically positioned throughout the world, we have worked closely with many different sectors for over 50 years to meet measurement, modelling, design, mitigation and regulatory needs.

We are expanding our presence in the Middle East and are seeking an experienced Senior Acoustic Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This strategic role requires a capable individual with strong technical skills who will act as the acoustic lead for our Middle East projects, working closely with our local project manager and wider team.

This position is Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities


The role includes but is not limited to:
  • Lead the delivery and establishment of acoustic work in the region, supporting projects across building acoustics and environmental noise, with a focus on building strong client relationships and expanding our market footprint.
  • Take part in project scoping, proposals, and planning activities.
  • Offer Support for business development activities, identifying opportunities and securing new projects while ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
  • Work closely with our local project manager to ensure quality and timely delivery of consulting services.
  • Oversee the technical execution of projects, ensuring that deliverables meet RWDI’s standards of quality and are completed on time and within budget.
  • Act as a key technical contributor, while also engaging with clients as needed to understand and meet their project needs.
  • Be an integral part of our growing Middle East / APAC Acoustics team and help strengthen our capabilities in the region.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


We are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable engineering/science/physics disciplines, with advanced degree an asset
  • Demonstrated interest in noise, acoustics and vibration
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
